At Upstate Candle & Soap Co., we believe the products we bring into our homes should be beautiful, thoughtfully made, and a pleasure to use.
Our candles are hand poured in small batches using quality ingredients and carefully selected fragrances. From classic glass jars and tins to our one-of-a-kind handmade concrete vessels, every candle is given the time and attention it deserves—from pouring to curing—to create a beautiful, long-lasting fragrance experience.
Our Concrete Candles
Our handcrafted concrete candles are truly one-of-a-kind. Each vessel is individually poured, finished, sanded, sealed, and cured by hand right here in the Hudson Valley. Small variations in color, texture, and character are part of what makes every piece unique.
Designed to be enjoyed long after the candle has burned, our concrete vessels are durable, reusable, and made to be repurposed. Once you've enjoyed your candle, simply clean the vessel and give it a new life as a planter, catch-all, décor piece, or whatever you dream up.
Our candles are made with 100% soy wax, sourced from U.S.-grown soybeans, and paired with pure cotton wicks. Soy wax is a renewable, biodegradable wax that provides a clean, beautiful burn. We choose our ingredients and packaging with care, using materials that are cruelty-free, recyclable, and reusable whenever possible.
But candles are just the beginning.
Our cold-process soaps are handcrafted with nourishing oils and butters chosen to leave your skin feeling soft, clean, and conditioned. We believe soap should be more than something you simply use—it should be an experience. From the rich lather and creamy feel to the beautiful colors and irresistible fragrances, each bar is made to turn an everyday routine into something special.
